First off let me say, I am sorry I have been a little bit MIA both on the blog and on Instagram this past week or so! I have been crazy busy running around and working on turning our apartment into a home. Until this past weekend, we had a couch and that's literally it. So we've been spending all weekend/week (because somehow it's already Thursday?) hanging paintings, mounting a projector, and building bookshelves. Basically my best friend this week has been a power drill, so that's been fun. But I am really excited because it's all coming together really well, and I love the way it's been turning out so far! I've been posting sneak peeks on Snapchat here and there, so if you're following me you've probably seen some of it already (and if you're not following me, why aren't you? Username is OliviaWhalen11) but I do plan on doing a full apartment decor post as soon as we get everything done! That being said, if anybody has suggestions for an inexpensive place to get a cute rug or bedside tables, I would love to hear from you! 

In other news, the Nordstrom Sale is wrapping up this week, which means it's your last chance to get everything you could ever need for fall at some of the best prices you're going to find all year. This sweater was one of my very first purchases from the sale, and I can tell it's going to get a TON of use this fall. I like it because it's super lightweight, which makes it SO versatile. Not only will it be perfect with leggings or jeans, it will be super cute under a light jacket and I absolutely love the way it looks with shorts, so I don't have to wait until it gets cold out to wear it!
