Is it just me, or is dressing for warm weather a struggle? I always feel like I look way too casual or sloppy in shorts and a tank top. Not quite sure why, exactly. I just always feel like it needs something else, but it's too hot to add anything without dying. I love this sweater because it's super airy and you can throw it on with shorts and a tank top to pull the whole look together without completely overheating.

Another way to pull a casual shorts and tank look together is by adding a long necklace. A lot of the time I feel like shorts and a flowy tank top looks a little too choppy on me and tends to make my torso look shorter/wider than it is, so by adding a long necklace I feel like it also adds a little bit of length to the look as a whole. 

Last but not least, my favorite way to dress up shorts is by adding a comfy pair of chunky heels, and I have been absolutely living in these lace-up ones lately! The exact ones I'm wearing are sold out, but I linked a similar pair that I absolutely love!
